My Recruiting Experience
I was recruited to play college basketball after competing in high-level AAU tournaments and attending elite camps. These experiences allowed me to showcase my skills in front of college scouts and coaches, who were always watching for emerging talent. Playing against top competition in AAU tournaments helped me sharpen my game, while elite camps provided exposure and the chance to network. Ultimately, these experiences played a huge role in landing me college recruitment opportunities. Through playing in AAU tournaments and attending elite camps, I not only gained exposure that led to my college basketball recruitment but also learned valuable insights about what I wanted in a coach and a program. I discovered the importance of a coaching style that resonates with me, a team where I feel a genuine fit, and a school with strong academics. These experiences shaped my understanding of where I’d thrive both on the court and academically.
Being A Collegiate Athlete
Being a college athlete was an experience I truly cherish, as it provided me with invaluable opportunities. Competing in Division II was the best decision for me as I got to compete with incredible talent day in and day out while also earning an outstanding education, which has prepared me well for the future. Most importantly, the relationships I formed with teammates, coaches, and mentors became some of the most meaningful connections in my life.
