My Recruiting Experience
I was recruited by several DIII schools in the Northeast, particularly from conferences like the NESCAC and Liberty League. New Hampton’s open pickup runs, held three nights a week, made it easy for coaches to evaluate my skills. Additionally, I attended high academic camps at Brandeis and Dartmouth, as well as a team camp at Milton Academy, which further showcased my abilities and academic strengths.
Being A Collegiate Athlete
Being a college athlete was an incredible experience! I loved having practices and lifts seamlessly integrated into my daily routine at such a prestigious academic institution. Due to health issues, I transitioned to an assistant coaching role during my junior year, which was equally rewarding. This role allowed me to immerse myself in game planning and recruiting, deepening my passion for the game and contributing to the team’s success in a new way.
