My Recruiting Experience

I was a late bloomer and late to the recruiting process. I was playing on a youth team at a professional club in Europe during the "crunch time" recruiting period. I found a smaller Division 1 school who offered me a scholarship to play my freshman and sophomore year at, with the goal to move to a school in a bigger conference. After two seasons, I transferred to Virginia Tech in the ACC and loved every moment of it. I played 3 seasons and consider my time in Blacksburg some of the best and proudest years of my life so far.

Being A Collegiate Athlete

Representing your university both on and off the field is an honor no one should take lightly. You have coaches, teammates and faculty who expect you to give your all, at all times. The ability to constantly grow as both an athlete as a student is what got me out of bed each morning. The college game is getting more competitive each year, from both the recruitment and player ability levels. There are so many schools to choose from and everyone has their own "perfect fit."
