My Recruiting Experience

I was fortunate to attend Wesleyan School, where I thrived as a role player in a successful girls' basketball program. I was recruited by several colleges early on, and I eventually faced a decision between smaller and larger schools. My final choices were between Samford and Belmont University. Ultimately, I chose Samford for the team's strong chemistry, the academic opportunities, and the chance to help elevate the basketball program. I was very excited to contribute to the team’s success and grow both academically and athletically at Samford.

Being A Collegiate Athlete

Playing basketball at Samford University under two head coaches, including Carley Kuhns, who had recruited me to Belmont, was an incredible experience. I’m proud to have been part of three championship teams, with my best year being when we won both the regular season and conference tournament, earning MVP honors. The challenge of being a collegiate athlete pushed me to grow in all aspects of life, and I’m grateful for the lifelong friendships and relationships I built along the way.
