My Recruiting Experience
I was recruited in my Sophomore year of high school to play volleyball at the University of Findlay, amidst visits to various Division 1 and Division 2 schools. Early in my junior year, Findlay women’s basketball coaches attended one of my basketball practices, marking the beginning of my journey with the university. I ultimately chose to attend the University of Findlay, where I played college basketball for four years. Following the impact of Covid-19 and with an additional year of eligibility, I decided to continue my studies and athletic career at the University of Tampa, where I excelled in my program.
Being A Collegiate Athlete
Playing college basketball allowed me to build meaningful relationships, including some of my closest friendships with teammates. The experience taught me invaluable life lessons and developed my leadership skills. Both campuses I attended were beautiful, and the administrators and staff were consistently welcoming and supportive. One of the aspects I will cherish most is the intimate classroom setting at both schools, which provided me with essential one-on-one attention. This learning environment was critical to my academic success, particularly while balancing a demanding athletic schedule.
